Yard Enhancement Services
My name is David Mintz and I am the owner of Yard Enhancement Services, LLC. My father worked for the state department and I was brought up abroad until I was 14 years old and we moved back to Virginia after many overseas adventures. As a hard-working young man, I started mowing lawns within walking distance of our home in Burke. I went into other areas including site work development before starting Yard Enhancement Services in 2003 at the age of 21. Like a lot of small locally owned landscaping businesses I began my lawn enterprise out of my parent’s garage. Going into our 15th year I am very proud of how the company has developed over the years. I have 15 full time employees and no longer in my parent’s garage. Our shop is located right in the middle of Burke behind the Kohls shopping center. One of my proudest moments as a local entrepreneur was having a physical company address on Burke Centre Parkway. I have always wanted my business to have all the abilities of larger companies while maintaining the environment of a small locally owned business where customers know our first names and we take pride in their lawns and our work. We try our best to focus on detail oriented service for our clients and developing long lasting relationships. I like to think of Y.E.S as a member of the local community and hope to continue my business for years to come.
