During the early spring and\or early fall when night temperatures are conducive for seed establishment all turf areas will be core aerated to a depth 1.0-2.0 inches. A slow-release starter fertilizer will be applied at a rate of 3-4 lbs. per 1,000 square feet. Over seeding with a certified transitional turf-type tall fescue seed blend will be applied at a rate of 5-7 lbs. per 1,000 square feet of turf. In areas where turf coverage is under 50% slice seeding will be used as an alternative to aeration and additional seed applied. Shade blend fescue seed will be used for shaded parts of the turf.
